TIFT COUNTY, GA --
Georgia State Patrol officers at Post 13 in Tifton say one woman is dead after an accident Tuesday morning in Tift County.

Sergeant 1st Class, Stan Stalnaker says 57-year-old Rhonda Green was driving north on Early Hutchinson Road shortly after 8 a.m. when her vehicle stopped at the intersection at Zion Hope Road. Green then attempted a left turn in her 2002 Rodeo, entering the path of a Ford F250 driven by 29-year-old Deidra Miller of Tifton.

Stalnaker says authorities say Miller was taken to the hospital to be treated for her injuries and Green was dead on the scene.

It was raining at the time of the accident, however, investigators do not know if that was a factor of the crash at this time. Charges are not pending in this case.
