ALBANY, GA -- Dougherty, Worth, and Lee Counties have been put under a severe thunderstorm warning until 3:15 PM while Dougherty has a flash flood warning issued until 4 PM.
Albany police are urging motorists to slow down as several roads and intersections are covered with water.
Intersections without lights
include Gillionville and Magnolia, Pine and Jefferson, Jefferson and Broad, Pine and Jackson, 2nd and Slappey, and Westover & Westgate.
Water on the road and flooding
have been reported on Westwood Drive, 3rd and Slappey, the 500 block of Westgate,1100 block of West Highland, 800 block of Oglethorpe, 1400 block of South Jefferson, and 600 block of South Harding. Darton College is also experiencing some flooding on it's campus.
A large tree has been reported in road in the 1800 block of Edgerly.
