ALBANY, GA --

A woman who's been on the run for several months is now behind bars facing charges for exploiting an elderly woman.

Patricia Glenn is charged with more than 30 counts of financial transaction card fraud. This is in addition to four counts of the exploitation of an elderly person, which is a felony.

Police believe the suspect began bilking money out of her 86-year-old patient's account back in March of last year. She served as a caregiver for the woman.

Glenn is suspected to have taken $7,500 from the woman's bank account.

Back in November, when police set up an interview to speak to the woman about the case, she disappeared.

The suspect has now been booked into the Dougherty County Jail.
