Around 4:30 A.M. Friday morning, 27-year old Reginald Cobb was driving a 2003 Chevy Impala east down Gordon Avenue.

His vehicle hit a tree and overturned in the 800 block of Gordon Avenue.

Cobb and his 21-year old girlfriend, Ashley Davis, hopped out of the car, grabbed a shoebox out of the trunk, and ran.

Both were treated for minor injuries and taken into custody.

While both were questioned, Reginald Cobb is the only one facing charges for hit and run, suspended license and suspended registration.
