Dougherty County Jail
DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA -- Dougherty County Police say they have arrested a man after making continual sexual advances on a woman Thursday after midnight.
Officers say that the victim was in the backseat of a Ford Explorer with 26-year-old Shane Williams making a trip to a convenience store and began to engage in sexual acts.
The victim became uncomfortable with the acts and told Williams to stop, but he proceeded despite her protests according to authorities.
After arriving at her home, she told Williams to leave and contacted police. Officials say she was taken to the Lily Pad for interviews and medical treatment.
Officers arrested Williams and he has been charged with aggravated battery, aggravated
sodomy
, and battery.
