ALBANY, GA --
Albany Technical College has announced that they have found a new Director of Financial Aid for the college.

Officials with Albany Technical College say that Kenneth Wilson will begin in the new position January 2nd.

According to the release, Wilson will be coming to Albany Tech from Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina. Wilson, with degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science Technology, has been a part of the financial aid arena for 17 years.

“My goals for the financial aid department at Albany Tech are to speed up the processing of student loans, reduce the default rate, and simplify the verification process,” said Wilson. “This should allow staff to be more focused on counseling students and less time on processing paper” said Wilson in the release.
