Many Southwest Georgians say they aren't ready for the 2009 hurricane season
It's been easy for people to forget about hurricane season, which is even more reason to prepare now for possible storms down the road.
Mike's Country Store on Philema Road has plenty of bottled water and canned food. Home Depot has plywood and lumber if you feel you need to board up your home. Other important items include; flashlights, batteries, baby supplies, and enough medicine to last a week. You'll also want to make sure your generator works.
