Many people count on the Red Cross for help in times of need, but right now the Red Cross needs help from the community in order to give flood victims the assistance they need.
Victims like Hilda Foster, who now has to stay in a hotel until flood waters go back down, are counting on the Red Cross. Supplies and funds for the Red Cross were depleted even before the storms came through southwest Georgia, but now they are running on empty and are calling on the community to help out. They prefer donations be in the form of money so they can better cater to victim's needs.
You can send donations to 500 Pine Avenue, Albany, Ga 31701, or for more information you can call the Red Cross at 229-436-4845.
