An Albany State University graduate student was killed Tuesday night in a fatal car crash.

23-year-old Mariah Myers and three others were involved in a head-on collision near Savannah. 

Myers was pronounced dead at the scene, her mother, Claudia Myers was taken to Memorial University Medical Center by ambulance.  The driver and passenger of the other vehicle involved were both taken by life flight to the same hospital.

ASU officials released a statement saying they are saddened by the news and that their thoughts and prayers are with the Myers family.
