ATHENS, GA. (AP) -- Georgia coach Mark Richt says he did his best to make his team's last scrimmage of the preseason feel like a real game.

Freshman quarterback Aaron Murray says he had some jitters that caused him to overthrow a pass or two at the start of Wednesday's scrimmage. Murray knows Sanford Stadium will feel different when the Bulldogs open their season on Sept. 4 against Louisiana-Lafayette.

Murray says one big difference is there will be more than 90,000 fans in the stands.

Richt tried to simulate a real game by having officials, game captains and a coin toss at the scrimmage.

Murray prepared for his first start by completing 9 of 17 passes for 127 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions.
