ALBANY, GA --
Returning to the field for the first time in a week and a half, the Darton State men’s soccer team didn’t need to shake off any rust.

The Cavaliers kept the pressure on early for a 1-0 win over Middle Georgia.

Maintaining possession on the Warriors side of the field, Troy Tucker buried the game’s only goal midway through the first half. Jaylon Butler earned the assist finding Tucker open near the right corner of the box

Darton State moved to 8-0 on the 2012 season. The Cavaliers face Thomas University (JV) next Wednesday.

Lady Cavaliers Blast Middle Georgia

The Darton State women’s team poured out the offense Thursday against Middle Georgia.

The Lady Cavaliers scored four goals in the second half for the 6-1 victory. Darton State was coming off a 2-0 loss to Brevard College this weekend.

Kimberly Treutel and Chi Chi Hikita both scored a goal in the second half to push the game out of reach. The Lady Cavaliers return to the field Monday against conference rival, Georgia Perimeter.
