Offensively, we’ve got to go for it. I don't want to hold back or try to be careful with the ball. I want us to attack, and be on attack as well as we can. That will be our attitude going in,” ASU Head Coach Mike White said.  / Andrew Schnitker

ALBANY, GA --
The difficult opening game stretch hasn't been kind to Albany State football. That's evident with the Golden Rams current losing record of 1-2, but this week the slate has been wiped clean.

“We look at it as part two of our season...the rest of the games are conference games. Now, it's time for part two,” senior defensive lineman Justin Blash said.

For ASU, the conference opener against Miles College has been tabbed the start to the second half of the season. And it's the one that really counts for playoff positioning. A run through the conference schedule and the choppy start to the season is forgotten.

The Golden Rams players have already forgotten about last week's 13-12 loss to Elizabeth City State. It's clear ASU won’t be holding back against the Golden Bears.

“Offensively, we’ve got to go for it. I don't want to hold back or try to be careful with the ball. I want us to attack, and be on attack as well as we can. That will be our attitude going in,” ASU Head Coach Mike White said.

On the injury front, bad news seems to follow Golden Rams junior tailback Kareem Hess. The Tift County native broke his leg during the fourth quarter of Saturday's loss and will miss the remainder of the Golden Rams season.
