ALBANY, GA -- It didn’t take long for the Albany State volleyball team to notch it’s first conference win of the year.

In a match lasting an hour and five minutes, the Lady Rams defeated Tuskegee in straight sets 25-14, 25-16, 25-11. Jillian Anderson led ASU with 14 kills with sophomore Sharme Ridley adding 11 for the Lady Rams.

ASU never trailed in the final set at HPER Gym for the home opening win. It was Albany State’s second victory of the season. The Lady Rams host Fort Valley State next Monday.
