ALBANY, GA --

As the 2011 League Champion and #1 seed Albany Panthers (10-2) work through preparations and game plans for their playoff match-up with the #4 seed Columbus Lions (6-6) on Saturday night, they are asking the best fans in the Professional Indoor Football League (PIFL) to do their part by wearing black to the game and "Black Out" Phoebe Field at the Albany Civic Center.

As added incentives for Saturday’s game, all advance tickets are $10 with day of the game tickets at $15.  2012 PIFL Division Champions t-shirts will also be on sale.

Pregame festivities will feature the invocation delivered by Pastor Brian Ramey of Friendship Baptist Church in Bainbridge, GA and Albany Panthers Team Chaplin, the National Anthem will be delivered by Albany State Alum Ms. Courtney Spencer, the game ball will be presented by Season Ticket Holders Julie Bean, Delana Wilson, and Steve Wiley.  Former Monroe High School Tornadoes football star, two-time Super Bowl Champion and Super Bowl 39 MVP with the New England Patriots, Deion Branch will do the coin toss.

"It is going to be an electric night as we attempt to win another league championship," said General Manager Will Carter. "What better way to cap off an amazing night than for Phoebe Field to be completely filled with fans dressed in black cheering the Panthers on to victory.  We will need our fans in this tough rivalry game"
