CORDELE, GA -- In the last half of the season, Lee County hasn't seen an opposing pitcher they haven't shelled. On Wednesday night, the Trojans met their match.

Forsyth Central swept Lee County in a pair of one-run games 2-1, 5-4 at Trojan Field. The Trojans had posted double-digit run totals in five of their past seven games.

Crisp County's season ends in the second round once again. The second round of the GHSA State playoffs has been a struggle for the Cougars in the past, and that pain continued on Wednesday.

Crisp County fell to Allatoona 4-2, 2-1 at the Cougars Diamond Den. In game two, the Cougars couldn’t complete a double play in the 11th inning allowing the winning run to come home.

The Cougars were undefeated at 27-0 entering their series with Allatoona.
