ALBANY, GA -- The Darton College softball team keeps counting the wins. The current streak is now up to 26 straight games. And the kicker is...most of the Cavaliers victories haven't been particularly close.
During the 26 game streak, seven of those games have been decided by less than three runs. Friday was more of the same for the Cavaliers.
Darton defeated Andrew College in five innings 8-0, 10-2. The Cavaliers offense produced six doubles in game two to turn a 3-2 lead in to a shortened game.
The Cavaliers (32-1, 4-0) travel to Gordon College Tuesday for a doubleheader in Barnesville.
Albany State Sweeps Paine

In game one, Lady Rams pitcher Chelsea Hicks allowed one run on two hits for the win. Catcher Chaconna Marks was a single-shy of the cycle going 3-3 with 3 RBI’s and 4 runs.
Albany State (12-17, 10-2) plays a doubleheader with Claflin Saturday at 1 PM.
