ALBANY, GA -- The Albany Tech Titans were given an extended holiday break off the basketball court. It’s been 11 days since the Titans played a game on hardwood.

The team didn’t receive the gift they were hoping for in their last game- a loss at Lawson State. But Titans forward Jamorris Gaines provided all the presents on Wednesday night.

Gaines killed any concern of a possible holiday hangover scoring 36 points in the Titans 79-63 win over South Crescent Tech. Robert Ellis pitched in with 13 points and 10 boards.

The one-loss Albany Tech Lady Titans witnessed a similar dominant performance by their sophomore leader Bianca Fennessee.

Fennessee and Shakima Wiggins led the Lady Titan charge for a 54-38 win over the South Crescent Tech Lady Tigers.

Fennessee dictated play in the post finishing the night with 17 points and 16 rebounds, but Wiggins wasn’t too far behind with 15 points and three assists.

It’s a big weekend in Florida for the 10-1 Lady Titans. Albany Tech will play Hillsborough College in Tampa on Friday, and St. Petersburg on Saturday.
