ALBANY, GA -- The Darton College men's soccer team mysteriously dropped from the top-ranked NJCAA team in the country to the number two spot this week without losing a game.

On Sunday afternoon, the Cavaliers looked like the best squad in the country, and the women’s team may not be too far behind.

The men defeated Andrew College 11-1 at the Darton Soccer Complex. The ten goal win clinched the Region 17 regular season title for the Cavs. The team will also be the top seed in the upcoming region tournament.

Perhaps, the guys were motivated by what they saw from the women’s team earlier in the afternoon.

The women’s team posted a 14-0 blowout over the Andrew Fighting Tigers. Sophomore Shelby Bush racked up two hat tricks with fellow sophomore Sashanna Campbell adding five goals in the route.

Both teams have two games remaining on the schedule. The Cavaliers travel to Middle Georgia College on Wednesday and Gordon College on Friday.
