ALBANY, GA -- Setting the pace in the region, the Darton State basketball team set a new milestone under Cavalier Head Coach Lea Henry.
With 20 wins in its first season under Coach Henry, Darton State eclipsed the previous mark and matched the program's single season wins total against Andrew College Wednesday
The Lady Cavaliers used a 15-2 run in the first half to set its dominance cruising to a 72-44 win. Michelle Mitchell was the team leader with 18 points.
Darton State travels to Americus next Wednesday for a meeting with rival South Georgia Tech. The Lady Cavaliers can break the program record of 21 wins against the Lady Jets.
