ALBANY, GA -- After knocking off the previous number one team in the conference and moving up to 15th in the national polls, life is pretty good for the Darton State basketball team.
The Lady Cavaliers moved their winning streak to eight on Wednesday with a 65-40 win over Atlanta Metro State. Michelle Mitchell led Darton State with 19 points with Kadaysha Jones adding 10.
Now, the Lady Cavaliers prepares for a lengthy road streak. Darton State won’t play at Cavalier Arena again until Jan. 30 facing three straight road games.
