ALBANY, GA --
The Albany State Golden Rams have done the hard part climbing back to .500. Just three weeks ago, the prospects didn’t look too promising for ASU.

Now, Albany State has put together back to back victories and controls its own destiny in the SIAC East.

The change in fortune for the Golden Rams has changed the attitude in practice.

“I know they're getting excited...you can feel the tempo at practice picking up. We've got to continue to work on what we're doing here and just stay on the practice field. Just play the game everyday we practice,” Albany State Head Coach Mike White said.

“Just keep coming out here and working hard. We've got to focus on the little stuff we've got to do to get better and that's what we're going to do,” quarterback David Kooi said.

Albany State’s slate of eastern division foes opens with Morehouse College Saturday in Atlanta.
