ALBANY, GA --

The Pop Warner Fitness Fair was held Saturday afternoon at the Albany Mall.

The fair welcomed all families to come out and learn about how to get fit and stay fit. There were fitness organizations from all over the community who also came out to teach parents and kids about how crucial it is to be active.

Kids got to join in on a zumba session and meet with coaches from South Georgia Pop Warner.

Marie Kierser was at the fair representing Curves and said it's so important to have these events that kid not just the kids, but the parents involved in fitness. Kierser believes it starts with the parents and they need to be setting an example for their children when it comes to getting active.
