Homerun Foods on Gillionville is robbed late Saturday with the thief making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

ALBANY, GA --
Albany Police are reporting that a black male wearing a hunter green jacket and something white over his face walked into the Homerun Foods on Gillonville Road around 10:15 PM.
He jumped over the counter and snatched an unknown amount of money from the register, and then fled on foot towards Beattie Road. No weapon was reportedly used during the robbery.
Police are searching near apartments in that area and are asking anyone that sees a suspicious person to call 911 immediately.
