ALBANY, GA -- The Albany Tech basketball team lost sight of the bottom of the net Saturday, thus the Titans lost a pivotal region game to Middle Georgia, 51-45.

All the remaining games are pivotal to the Titans, if the team wants a second chance and a region playoff spot. Albany Tech will face the top three teams in Region 17 this week (at Gordon College, vs. East Georgia State, and Chattahoochee Tech).

On Saturday, the Titans were far away from being in control against Middle Georgia, but they led for most of the game’s 40 minutes. It was those final three minutes that proved to be Albany Tech’s undoing.

Middle Georgia used their aggressive scoring defense and some timely shots for the six point win.
