AMERICUS, GA -- The South Georgia Tech Jets got the best of Albany Tech on Wednesday night.

Colquitt County’s Antwon Tuff missed an open look for three as the Titan men lost in Americus 71-69.

“I would give it to him again,” said Coach Sylvester Patterson in regards to Tuff’s missed three point shot.

Tuff and Tony Fears finished the game with 11 points each, but the Titans were forced to battle from behind all night. It was a miracle Albany Tech was trailing by only two late. South Georgia Tech opened up a 16 point lead in the second half before the Titans started trimming away.

Albany Tech hosts Atlanta Metro Saturday back at HPER Gym.

Lady Jets Jump Past Albany Tech Early

An awful first half put the Albany Tech Lady Titans in a big hole against South Georgia Tech. Despite Lashay Lettingham’s 31 point effort, the Lady Titans shot 21% from the field in the first 20 minutes falling to the Lady Jets 74-62.

The Albany Tech Lady Titans face another conference game Saturday against Atlanta Metro.
