ALBANY, GA -- The Albany Tech basketball team's three game winning streak ended on Wednesday. South Georgia Tech closed the second half on a 13-0 run for the 77-66 win at HPER Gym.

Anthony Ethridge and Octavius Green propelled the Jets to victory. Ethridge led all scorers with 26 points. Green grabbed 13 rebounds and 22 points for visiting South Georgia Tech.

The South Georgia Tech Lady Jets sustained a late rally by Albany Tech for a 51-37 victory. Nikki Blackburn led South Georgia Tech with 14 points.

Darton State's Streak Snapped on Road

The Darton State College women were riding a nine game winning streak into a road game at Central Georgia Tech. The Cavaliers winning streak can’t reach double digits as Darton State falls 82-79 on Wednesday.

Kadaysha Jones led Darton with 20 points. With the loss, the Cavaliers still maintain a one game lead on the rest of the conference.
