ALBANY, GA -- The Albany State baseball winning streak was snapped earlier this week, and Georgia Southwestern extended ASU’s struggles in to the weekend.
The Golden Rams have lost three straight games after Thursday's loss to the Hurricanes, 7-2. Georgia Southwestern scored the game’s final six runs for the win at Golden Rams Park.
Albany State grabbed a 2-1 lead from the Hurricanes in the fourth inning using timely hits and small ball, but failed to hold on from there. ASU hosts Claflin for a three game series starting Saturday at 12 PM.
