BAKER COUNTY, GA --
Baker County officials are warning drivers that if you don't have to drive, then stay off the road as a safety precaution.

Officials say that they try to upkeep the dirt roadways, but the large amounts of rain has been hampering their efforts, leading to some of them becoming washed out, there isn't much they can do.

As with other counties, Baker officials are keeping an eye on roads that could become hazardous and will close them if need be.

Roads currently closed in Baker County include Mimsville Road, Bell Pond Road, Tenille Road, Oscar Jordan Road, Tucker Lane, Red Rhodes Road, Lester Road, Sheffield Road, Tom Sheffield Road, and Lachey Road. For a complete list of road closures, click here.
