WORTH COUNTY, GA -- With all of the rain coming into the region, Worth County officials say they have gone through the sandbags, but if you require some, they are working on getting everyone sandbags.
Officials say that citizens from the county have come out to volunteer along side the fire department, public works, and jail inmates to fill up sandbags.
Officials add that right now the limit on sandbags anyone can pick up in one trip is set at twenty, but that if you require more, you can come back for another load.
While filling sandbags provides one hurdle for Worth County volunteers, road closures are another major problem they face.
Worth County officials say that they are using a Hummer to get around and check out roads that could be problematic, and expect to see nearly 40 roads closed by the end of the week.
