ALBANY, GA -- Darton State College held their 41st annual regional
science and engineering fair
Friday morning that hosted about 200 middle and high school students from 17 Georgia counties.
To make it to Darton's science fair, the teens needed to win science fair competitions at their own school.
The winners from Darton will continue on to Athens and participate at the Georgia state science fair to be held in March.
One grand prize winner will win a trip to the international science fair in Phoenix, Arizona.
Darton officials say they keep holding the science fair to help keep kids interested and excited for science.
The exhibitions will be open to the public starting at 7 PM Friday evening.
