"Quilt Show" comes to Dawson, showing off hand-stitched artwork.

DAWSON, GA -- Art can come in many forms, and on Saturday, folks in Dawson were treated to a "Quilt Show" courtesy of the Terrell County Historic Preservation Society.
Officials with the show state that each quilt holds a different story; that's why they enjoy showing off to the community.
"As we were watching people come in and look at the quilts, they were studying them just like you would a fine piece of art, and you know I think they're trying to imagine some of the stories the quilts are trying to tell them," said Kathy Hicks.
The show will be open through Sunday in Dawson, at 334 Main Street from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
