ALBANY, GA -- The Albany State softball team made up a rain out with Brewton Parker Wednesday.

Trading in rain for the cold, the Lady Rams forgot their bats as Brewton Parker swept ASU, 6-3, 4-2.

In the fifth inning of game two, Albany State showed some pop responding from a run down. Adrienne Morris doubled and Chelsea Hicks hit an RBI-single to knot the game at two runs a piece.

The two teams failed to score on numerous opportunities in the sixth and seventh. In the extra innings, Brewton Parker picked up two runs in the eighth. While the Lady Rams failed to muster a comeback.

Albany State plays host to Alabama A&M on Saturday afternoon.
