Crisp Academy pitcher, James Bodrey, dies after ATV accident

LAURENS COUNTY, GA -- FOX 31 has learned that 19-year-old James Bodrey, a pitcher from Crisp Academy, died Saturday from injuries sustained in an ATV accident.

Laurens County dispatch is reporting that Bodrey was the passenger on an ATV when he looked over the back of the vehicle and fell off. Laurens County authorities arrived at the accident around 1:20 AM Saturday. 

Suffering from head injuries, Bodrey was air lifted and died at Macon Medical Center.

Bodrey, a Wildcats pitcher, led Crisp Academy to the 2012 GISA-A State Baseball Championship series. He was enrolled as a student at Darton College.
