ATLANTA, GA --
The enthusiasm is growing around the Albany State football team. The Golden Rams have admitted it was a struggle early this season, but this team has found its identity.

ASU posted another win Saturday night using solid defense and just enough offense. In its first SIAC East game, the Golden Rams grounded Morehouse College 16-13.

Defensive back Dexter Moody returned an interception for a touchdown and a 16-6 lead. The defense held strong on a final minute Morehouse drive keeping the Tigers out of field goal range for the potential game-tying points.

The Golden Rams look forward to Clark-Atlanta for Homecoming. Next Saturday will be Albany State’s final home game of the regular season.
