ALBANY, GA -- The Darton College Cavaliers were washed out over the weekend. Finally, the team was able to put their solid national ranking back on solid ground.

The 12th-ranked Cavaliers swept through a doubleheader with Andrew College 3-2 and 12-1. The Cavs sealed game one by knocking Tigers off the bases. On three occasions, the Tigers had the tying run on base only to be picked off at second.

Cavalier outfielder Kevin Manos scored the winning run in the bottom of the third off a sacrifice fly. Manos finished his day 2-7 with an RBI and 3 runs scored.

In game two, a six-run fifth inning put the ballgame out of reach. Cody Wofford went 3-4 in the second part of the doubleheader. Darton and Andrew complete their series tomorrow at 6 PM at Cavalier Field.
