ALBANY, GA -- The Darton College softball team may need a boost of energy. A span of 37 games in two months is no easy task, but you won’t hear the Lady Cavaliers complain.

“We're a little worn down, but one thing about this team that I really like is the resiliency. Anything's going on...they have the ability to put it out of their mind and push forward,” Darton Head Coach David Dews said.

These Cavaliers have pushed forward quite well which is evident in their current 28 game winning streak. The 13th ranked Cavaliers will aim for their 29th and 30th wins Thursday against Middle Georgia…then they’ll rest. Spring Break begins for the players immediately after Thursday’s road games in Cochran.

“Of course, we're looking for time off...for our bodies to give us some rest. We just have to come to these two games tomorrow...once we get these two wins tomorrow we'll come and rest...it'll be a good break for us,” Cavalier infielder Erica Vasquez said.

The Cavaliers will return to the practice field next Tuesday, but they’ll have two weeks away from an official game. DC closes out the season with five straight home series starting April 11th.
