LAKE CHARLES, LA -- The Albany Panthers couldn't have faced a better opening road test and wide receiver Clenton Rafe couldn’t have picked a better time to return to the team.

Rafe re-signed with the Panthers this week after being an integral part of the 2011 championship team. Six days after signing, the wideout won the game with a last second touchdown as Albany defeated Louisiana 58-55.

It was a game of comebacks for both teams. The Panthers trailed 18-7 in the first quarter and led late in the third 47-33.

Next week, there won't be a lot of scouting necessary for either team. Panthers and Swashbucklers face each other again reversing the location back to the Albany Civic Center.
