PHENIX CITY, AL -- The Darton College baseball team pushed their 2012 record to 4-2 behind the superb pitching effort of Matt Aldrich.

The former Lee County player held Chattahoochee Valley scoreless in a 5-2 Cavalier victory in Phenix City, Ala. Aldrich held a no-hitter through six innings before finishing with eight strikeouts in eight innings of work.

Freshman Tripp Calhoun handled the offense for the Cavaliers. Calhoun went 3-4 with two doubles.

The team will hold its first “Kick Off the Spring” camp for kids Saturday from 1-4 PM. The Cavaliers next game is on the road Monday at 3 PM against Enterprise Community College.
