ALBANY, GA -- The Albany State men's basketball team opened the season on a two game losing streak. After earning their first win of the season against Tuskegee, the Golden Rams could reverse the streak with a win on Monday.
The Golden Rams moved back to .500 with a 71-58 win over NAIA-school Brewton-Parker. The Golden Rams jumped out to a 37-19 lead while holding the Barons to 30% FG shooting in the first half.
Guard Jaren Harris led the Golden Rams with 17 points and four rebounds. While junior Rachard Lofton chipped in 12 points. ASU faces Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina on Thursday at 7:30 pm.
