ALBANY, GA -- The Darton College Soccer teams reached the final day of the NJCAA National Championships. While only one team was going for it all in the title game, both teams had a chance to complete the most successful seasons in the school’s history.
The Cavalier women lost a heartbreaker in the title game to Tyler Junior College. Though, the Cavs had numerous opportunities to claim the trophy. One shot went in to the net before being called back while another hit off the right post.
The men faced Tyler Junior College in the third-place game. A 1-1 tie gave the men’s program their best finish in school history. Both squads will be honored at the Darton College Student Center on Monday at noon to commemorate their successful seasons.
