ALBANY, GA -- The good news for Deerfield-Windsor baseball is the bats have stayed consistent.

The Knights were consistent in scoring 24 runs on 30 hits in a round one sweep of Bulloch Academy, and DWS matched that output with 24 runs in a round two sweep of Arlington Christian.

Deerfield won both games 12-1 at the home park on Friday afternoon. With the wins, Deerfield moves to the semifinals against either Tattnall Square or Tiftarea.

While the Deerfield-Windsor bats stayed hot for round two, the pitching was even better.

Senior Chris Moates threw a complete game with six strikeouts for the game one victory, and Rhett Cooper one-upped Moates with a complete game and seven strikeouts in game two.
