ALBANY, GA -- The Albany Panthers will be missing an assistant coach when they return to the turf next Saturday night.

Assistant/ Special Teams coach Pat Cuff has left the Panthers organization, according to head coach Lucious Davis. Davis will take over the special team coaching duties.

Cuff was one of two assistant coaches to be compensated for work with the Panthers this year. Now, Mitchell Jenkins, who has been a volunteer coach with the Panthers, will be employed by the organization.

Cuff said he wishes nothing but the best for the team, and he hopes for continued success in their 2011 season.

The Panthers host the Alabama Hammers on Saturday at 7:30 pm at the Albany Civic Center.
