IRVING, Texas (AP) — Federal inspectors are sifting through the debris of the collapsed canopy of the Dallas Cowboys' indoor practice field in Irving.

The agents from the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration began their inspection this morning.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys' special teams coach is set to undergo surgery today to repair a fractured cervical vertebrae suffered in the Saturday collapse during a severe thunderstorm.

Joe DeCamillis is one of three Cowboys staff members still in the hospital today.

The tent-like facility collapsed under high winds Saturday, injuring 12. The others hospitalized include scouting assistant Rich Behm (BEEM), who was paralyzed from the waist down after his spine was severed. Assistant athletic trainer Greg Gaither had surgery to repair a fracture to the tibia and fibula in his right leg. He was expected to be released later this week.
