ALBANY, GA -- The Monroe Tornadoes just keep checking items off the list. In its final regular season home game, Monroe clinched the region’s top seed with a superior performance against Crisp County.

Monroe will host the AAAA-Region 1 tournament at its home gym after a 70-38 win over the Cougars.

The Tornadoes are 12-0 in the region with games against Worth County and Albany remaining. Westover trails Monroe by two games, but the Patriots would lose a tie break with the Tornadoes based off head to head results.

Saturday Scores

Southland Academy 11 – Deerfield-Windsor 71

Girls
