Monroe Sweeps Regular Season from Westover

ALBANY, GA -- In high school basketball, Saturday was the final meeting between Monroe and Westover for at least the regular season. The Tornadoes held the 2-0 advantage in 2012, and Monroe earned a third regular season win over Westover in 2013.

Monroe and Jabari McGhee drove past the Patriots 66-62 Saturday at the Albany Civic Center. McGhee scored 30 points in the Tornado win. Westover’s Kel Miller led the Patriots with 15 points.
