CAMILLA, GA -- Despite the doubters, the GISA’s Westwood Wildcats are still playing football.

This year’s classification move from A to AA was supposed to end Westwood's run at a third straight state title, but it’s the week of Thanksgiving and here come the Wildcats again.

The expectation to win continues as Westwood needs one more win to clinch a spot in the AA State Championship game. The Wildcats will host 7-5 Brentwood School Friday at Centennial Stadium. Brentwood is a team that features a powerful Wing-T offense peaking at the right time.

“They got a lot of speed and quickness, and what they do on offense with that Wing-T is pretty special. They've had a lot of success with it,” Head Coach Ross Worsham said.

“We've played all those AAA and AA teams last year, we still beat some. We came in the year confident, we're not over...we want to make it three straight, nobody wants to lose,” Wildcat running back Chason Worsham said.

Westwood is facing a Wing-T offense for the fourth straight week- the previous three games have resulted in wins. The Wildcats will get a boost having linebacker Jamie Davis back in the line up close to full strength.
