ALBANY, GA -- It wasn't ideal conditions for a home opener at the Darton State College soccer complex.

Muddied and wet, the nationally-ranked Cavaliers soccer teams hoped to keep their records clean against South Georgia College.

The Cavaliers men’s team survived the slop for a 3-2 win. While the women’s team wasn’t feeling ideal after a stunning 1-0 season opening loss.

The Cavalier men travel to Georgia Perimeter on Saturday. The Cavalier women face Tyler (Texas) Community College at the Mississippi Gulf Coast campus on Friday.
