Albany will soon have a new place to dine and hangout.

Coach's Sports Bar and Grill is set to open in the location of the old Cask and Kilt bar off of Dawson Road.

The new sports bar will have American style food for lunch and dinner in addition to an array of drinks.

It has pool tables and a projection screen for sports.

The owner says an official opening date hasn't been set yet.

“Mid-April is what I’m trying to get worked out. I don't have all of my licenses yet. All of the paperwork is turned in, so it’s on them,” said Wayne McClung, bar owner.

Coach's is currently hiring servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.

Applications will be accepted through Saturday March 22, 2013.
