ALBANY, GA --
Darton State College Cavaliers' starting pitcher A.J. Sunstrom has been named Division I Pitcher of the Week by the National Junior College Athletic Association.

According to the NJCAA, Sunstrom delivered eight shutout innings for the Cavaliers against Gulf Coast State on February 27th.

On Darton State College's website, head coach Scot Hemmings said that AJ is 13-2 in his two seasons with the program, and keeps getting better. “He’s been wonderful for the program,” Hemmings said. “He’s kind of an over-achiever.”
