ALBANY, GA. --

The United States Postal Service is asking for your input on the possible closure of the downtown Albany Post Office.

Officials are conducting a Discontinuance Feasibility Study to review delivery and retail operations at the facility.

The downtown post office is being studied due to a declining workload.

The postal service and local leaders are asking for your opinion and want as many people as possible to fill out the survey and send it in.

The statement from the U.S. Postal Service and the survey can be found on the city of Albany's website.
